Happy Thanksgiving to all those that celebrate the holiday. Yes now it’s time to give thanks for what we have. I have a lot to be thankful for and I hope that you guys do too! Still working on all the things that I have been working on. That is poetry, sci fi story (On chapter 4 now!) and other things. It has been a blast putting things together! Well on to eating some turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vanilla ice cream and pumpkin pie! Cranberry slices in my case I have to develope a taste for, but it’s all good! So until next time…William out!

Well today has been a difficult day for writing. You see my uncle passed away today due to a heart attack. He was very good man and he lived a long and full life.
He was the caretaker of the Mar A Lago estate over in Palm Beach for many years. He loved doing it. He worked directly for Donald Trump when he bought the estate.
Good bye Uncle Junie I know the Good Lord will take good care of you.
Good evening everyone! I hope that your day has gone well. Mine has! Remember if you have not voted early then please vote tomorrow! Too many people commited the ultimate sacrifice in order for us to be able to vote. It is our duty as citizens to do so.
I am working on chapter 3 of my sci fi story “A Change in Time.” So far so good on that front! It is slow going though. But I guess it is better to go slow than not at all. Later on tonight I will write some more poems for my poetry chap book. Then I will once again brainstorm plot ideas for my sci fi story.
Like I mentioned last time I’m building the framework of the story and then actually writing the story. It seems so far that is the way to go for me. But then who knows? Maybe with a different story I will write in a different way. I guess that is what you call evolution. It is all about finding the best way to do things.
Later on this week I will make it a goal of mine to do the necessary character sketches. But for right now I will just keep on writing. After all that is the fun part of it now isn’t it?
Had a great critique group meeting over at the Wellington library. The library is about 6 miles west of West Palm Beach, Fla. We do have a talented group of writers that most got a chance to read. Yours truly read along with the others and right now I’m implementing the suggestions that they gave me.
Speaking of which I need to get back to writing the story so unril next time…William out!
Had a great critique group meeting yesterday. Everyone was great! I got a chance to read yesterday day as well. I received very good feedback and will do my best to implement the suggestions that were said to me.
Not sure how much writing I will do today as I’m receiving immunotherapy today. We shall see how I feel when I get off.
I have been working on chapter three, of my sci-fi story “A Change in Time” but today God willing I will be doing those aforementioned suggestions. Then I will do some writing.
Well I’m going to relax into my chair. They just started to give me the Gamma Globulin. Now the real fun begins! So until next time…William out!
Good evening folks! I hope that your day went well. Here is thoughts, prayers and good wishes going out to the victims of Superstorm/Hurricane Sandy. That is all the victims from the Caribbean to Northeast Coast of the United States. My area which is Greenacres City Florida got wind gusts to 60 mph. That was bad enough. But enough of Sandy. May the good Lord help all the victims in need.
I am still working on my sci fi story and it seems that in doing so I am evolving as a writer. I am still trying to find the right type or way to go about putting the story together. Should I go and do it the, fly by the seat of the pants way, or should I go the outline route. Then I thought about my father who is a retired architect. He is the man that drew up the plans of the building that is going to be built.
Which lead me to thinking, why don’t I go ahead and draw up the foundation of the story and then write it? Of course the foundation would be the first draft outline with as many plots and subplots written and intertwined together.Of course I can always change the outline, but at least I have the foundation for the story and know where I am going with it. In any case if any of you guys have an idea about this, please let me know. I would appreciate hearing from you.
Tomorrow I am going to go to my critique group meeting in Wellington, Fla. I will let you guys know how that goes. And wish me luck on Friday as I have to go to a Doctors appointment and possilbe immunotherapy. I hope that this time I will not have to through the therapy, but if I do then I will go through it with a smile! Well it is time for me to go and do some more writing. So until next time…William out!
